Citing MindStat main-unit results

Software citation (APA 7)

Use the form in the project's CITATION.cff, with the version shown in the application footer — cite the version you actually ran, not the current one:

Azeez, G. K. (2026). MindStat: An offline, bilingual (Arabic/English) browser-based statistical analysis suite (Version x.y.z) [Computer software]. https://mindstat.pro

Cite R as well, together with the function named in the registry row for the metric you report — for example stats::t.test or stats::wilcox.test. Open the registry from Tools → Academic scope → Open registry table.

What to report in a thesis or paper

For a procedure carrying a green Academically ready badge:

  1. The MindStat panel name and the options you chose — for example Hypothesis → Independent t-test (Welch).
  2. The numeric fields listed for that procedure in the registry. Those fields only, not every number on the screen.
  3. That you archived the Reproducibility Bundle ZIP: analysis.R, the data CSV, a README carrying the SHA-256, and summary.md.
  4. Optionally, the Verify in R (WebR) console output for the same run.

Do not claim R parity for an option that has no registry row. Student pooled t, TOST, χ² and logistic regression are among them. A badge covers the listed fields of the listed procedure, and nothing beyond it.

Why the badge is narrow on purpose

The registry is a differential Phase-1 snapshot: each listed field was compared against the named base-R function and the deviation recorded. It is not a live R re-run that happens when you open the table, and it does not certify a procedure as a whole — only the fields it lists.

Azeez, G. K. (2026). MindStat: An offline, bilingual (Arabic/English) browser-based statistical analysis suite (Version x.y.z) [Computer software]. https://mindstat.pro

(Welch).
